Nations interested in running for a three-month term on The Dux Council should state their intention here before January 13. Nations may self-nominate and, obviously, if a nation runs unopposed no election will be necessary.

As ambassador to Gaed, I nominate Austrar for the position. You've taken an active stance on the forums, which I appreciate. That's not to say that I don't appreciate others, but the elections honestly look like they're going to be landslides, so I won't bother to vote. I value the rest of you for the same reasons. Here's to hoping our region grows to the point elections will be more tense!

I thank you for your support. I support democracy, especially in regional government, but given our region's size (about 26 nations) a number of one-candidate elections may have been expected. Regardless of the outcome of our elections, I have utmost confidence that our elected Delegate and Dux Council will be able to bring this region forward in a positive way.

If some, or all, of these races go unopposed....obviously no election will be necessary. Voting will only be held in contested races.
