(and other news) Merry Christmas, Dux Milan! This memo is to inform you all of some very exciting developments here at the DMRN. First, I'm excited to announce our first feature story on the history surrounding our Founder, Bradford John. I don't want to give away any details, but I can reveal it has something to do with John's press release made earlier this week. The feature will be ready by December 26 (the date is significant  ). Second, I'd like to congratulate the authors from the Queendom of Arsenioh on their first Short Story! It's a very interesting read and I hope to see many more like it in the future. Shout out to the citizens of the Traditional Fief of Loedenmark as well for making the story possible. Finally, I encourage all our readers and contributors who use Firefox, Chrome, or Opera web browsers to install the NS++ browser extension. It was developed by a fellow NS player and includes a wealth of awesome upgrades, both cosmetic (like the scrolling embassy flags on region pages) and practical (such as the update timer). Most importantly, it adds a robust, full-featured regional newspaper built into the NationStates website, a preview of which is shown below. Any nation can submit articles using the "Submit Articles" button in the top right. It also gives me and John (as a regional administrator) a plethora of customization and editing tools. This is truly a great thing, and I encourage all of you who are able to take part, do so! Brilliant, I'll get the extension now. I also tried to send in an article, but my spotty wifi has thwarted me two times already. What sort of stories do you wish to be submitted from nations? Just the political happenings of the nation?

If you had a chance to see the regional news, there's a story on public degradation on a public beach and a weather story. Political happenings, culturally significant events, weird news, anything!

If it's that open, I think I'll make it a point to write something at least once a day, even if I don't like it enough to submit. It'll act as an excuse to practice my writing skills and add "Gaed lore". I figure I can base things off the NS issues and Gaed's reaction. How would be the best way for me to submit an article, PM?

I believe that NS++ has a submit article button in the top right of the regional newspaper page (correct me if I'm wrong).
I'm interested in this as well, I'll write up something in the near future...

The submit article button would be best. if you can't find it (some people in the NS++ forum thread had that problem) just TG me and I'll post it. also feel free to post your stories here and on the NS forums. I'm glad you're excited about this. I'm also trying to stick to a story-per-day, but maybe the holidays weren't the best time to start such a commitment  |

Yeah, I use Chrome and I get an error every time I try to get the extension. I'll try gain tomorrow and see if I can do it.
