If you think you have a story that you would like featured, please contact the nation of Arsenioh.
THE BEAST OF LOEDENMARK
There are many myths of Loedenmark circulating around each fief. But many of them are about the traditional fief. The people of the traditional fief are thought to be barbarian and monstrous, completely indifferent to the modern lifestyle many have come to grow accustomed to. It is entertaining to listen to the stories that have been passed around about the traditional fief. An interesting myth would be the one where the people are half beast and half man.
The tale begins long ago, when the planet was relatively fresh and its inhabitants were still evolving. Mating season had rolled around, and times were tough for the men of the animal kingdom. Luckily, it did not take too long for everyone to find their mates. Well, not everyone. There was one human who was far too furry and odd looking for any of the women to want to mate. At least not the human women. A wild beast lady took a secret fancy to the odd human and considered him to be one of her kind. The two mated and created what was rumored to be the scariest species on the planet.
It's teeth were sharp like the teeth of a shark, it's eyes were bloodshot, pulsing purple veins poked out of it's thick head, and it had a screeching howl. It was half beast and half man. But it was hard to tell. It took no mercy, destroying everything it's path.
The most astonishing thin of all was that it was self reproductive. Meaning this vicious predator multiplied quickly and soon it had a large pack.
Upon the evolution of humans, they began to grow more fearful of the monster, and decided to try and make peace with it. It didn't work. The monster killed whoever entered it's territory. The humans then decided to leave the beast be, and keep watch over it's species so that it didn't endanger the entire planet.
Today, no one really knows what goes on in the traditional fief. In our right minds, we know that it is simply a fun myth to entertain ourselves with. But in the end, if we do not know we can only guess. So are the inhabitants of the traditional fief violent viscous half human half beasts? Or are they just like us? Or are they worse? We may never know.
